About

Two people.
One production company.
A shelf full of shows.

01  —  Who we are

Soup to Nut Productions is Sergio and Tiffany Alfaro. We operate through InventTV, our production company.

Since 2012, we've produced series, specials, and live events for the world's leading networks and streamers — Apple TV+, HBO, Peacock, Bravo, OWN, Lifetime, WETV, Telemundo, and more. The through-line is a bar for what a show should be: culturally impactful, well made, and delivered on budget.

02  —  Sergio Alfaro

Founder, CEO,
Executive Producer.

Sergio is the President and CEO of InventTV, and an Executive Producer committed to making culturally impactful content for leading networks. He is responsible for the development and production of original programming that spans live events, specials, and critically acclaimed reality series.

Having worked with a variety of budgets — from Snapchat's Bringing Up Bhabie to The Rachel Zoe Project — Sergio knows how to cover the stories in a manner that brings in viewers without burning the budget. He has produced 18 Oprah Conversations, including the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry interview, plus The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Into Alaska, Chad Loves Michelle, LA Ink, The Next Big Thing, BBQ Pit Masters, Swamp People, Next 15, and Peacock's Preaching Evil: A Wife on the Run with Warren Jeffs.

In 2023 he broke records on Telemundo with the 72nd Miss Universe pageant, taking on the arduous task of producing three live shows in four days in a third-world country. He and his team far exceeded expectations and garnered an unprecedented 122 million total engagements across platforms.

Sergio recently led a program alongside Moviekarma for HBO Max working with diverse individuals in the industry. His experience across sales, finance, development, and distribution lets his team rest at ease knowing he is behind them to ensure the project is not only epic but also budget-friendly.

The bar doesn't move.

01

Cultural impact.

Shows that mean something. From the Meghan and Harry interview to Miss Universe El Salvador, we chase stories that matter to people.

02

Craft over hype.

Fifteen years of series, specials, and live events. Networks and streamers come back because the work holds up.

03

On budget.

Whether the budget is Snapchat scale or primetime special scale, we know how to spend it and where not to.
